CE Calculus

This is Calculus 2410 through ACC. Students can take this as a standa alone course or take BC calc for the 2nd Semester. 

CE College Algebra

This is College Algebra 1340 through ACC, taken 1st semester. 

CE College Trigonometry

This is College Trigonometry 1420 through ACC, taken second semester after CE College Algebra. 

 

English


CE English 1021

Emphasizes the planning, writing, and revising of compositions, including the development of critical and logical thinking skills. This course includes a wide variety of compositions that stress analytical, evaluative, and persuasive/argumentative writing. This course fulfills a concurrent enrollment credit in which students will receive college credit for their work in the class.

CE English 1022

Expands and refines the objectives of English Composition I. Emphasizes critical/ logical thinking and reading, problem definition, research strategies, and writing analytical, evaluative, and/or argumentative compositions. This course fulfills a concurrent enrollment credit in which students will receive college credit for their work in the class.

CE Lit 1015

Introduces students to fiction, poetry, and drama.

CE Lit 2005
This course examines American Literature from a holistic point-of-view.

CE Western Civilization 1310

This course will introduce the history of Western Civilization from antiquity to the 21st century. This is a dual enrollment course offered through Arapahoe Community College and offers up to six college credit hours.

CE Western Civilization 1320

This course will continue the history of Western Civilization from antiquity to the 21st century. This is a dual enrollment course offered through Arapahoe Community College and offers up to six college credit hours.

CE US History 1210

Explores trends within events, peoples--including Native American--groups, ideas, and institutions in North America and the United States to Reconstruction.

CE US History 1220

Explores trends within events, peoples, groups, ideas, and institutions since the American Civil War
 

CE - 20th Century World History

Investigates the major political, social, and economic developments, international relationships, scientific breakthroughs, and cultural trends that have shaped the various global regions, empires, and nation-states since the late nineteenth century.
 

World Languages


CE Spanish 1011

Students continue to learn the language through its use in realistic contexts with more complex grammatical structures.

CE Spanish 1012

Students continue to study Spanish through an informal, conversational approach. This course has an important component on grammar and vocabulary, improving the student’s language skills with complex structures and putting emphasis on accuracy and clear expression of ideas.

Focuses on strategies for becoming effective teachers in diverse education settings within Early Childhood Education (ECE), K-12, or higher education. EDU2088

CE Intro to Teacher Education 2
This course includes current issues of education reform, technology as it relates to education, and considerations related to becoming a teacher in the state of Colorado. EDU2341

CE Practucum 2

Business


CE BUS 1016 Personal Finance

The course emphasizes the basis of budgeting, buying, saving, borrowing, career planning, investing, retirement planning, estate planning, insurance, and income taxes.

CE Intro To Business

This project-based business course develops student understanding and skills in such areas as business law, economics, financial analysis, human resources management, information management, marketing, operations, and strategic management.
 

CE Principles of Marketing

This project-based business course develops student understanding and skills in such areas as channel management, marketing-information management, market planning, pricing, product/service management, promotion, and selling.
 

Concurrent Enrollment Course Information: 

  • May not be weighted
  • Will receive college credit as long as the class is passed with a "C" or higher.
  • Some classes may not be guaranteed transfer, only guaranteed transfer classes can ensure you will get college credit. Does not always apply out of state.
  • The credit transcript is permanent. All grades received will be on your college transcript that will follow you.
  • Credit is set by the college and received as long as you pass. Courses vary between 3-5 credits.
