COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course is designed to help students develop the essential communication skills they need for success beyond high school—skills that will benefit them in college, careers, civic life, and personal relationships. Public speaking is not just about speeches; it's about learning how to express ideas effectively, listen respectfully, and present yourself with confidence and professionalism.

Researching and constructing clear arguments
Respectfully addressing opposing views
Understanding logical fallacies and effective rebuttal

Civic Communication: Jury Deliberations
