CE Chemistry 1111

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

First semester College level general chemistry for college credit. Specifically for students who are seeking medical or science-based degrees in their postsecondary plans.

*All CE Courses require additional application steps.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVE:

College level chemistry/ general chemistry covering measurement, matter, chemical formulas, reactions and equations, stoichiometry, electron configuration and quantum numbers, bonding theory, solutions, kinetics, equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry. A Laboratory component will demonstrate qualitative and quantitative analysis.

 

OPEN TO GRADES:   11, 12

RECOMMENDED GRADES:   11, 12

PREREQUISITES:  CE College Algebra. And a B or higher for CP Chem.

MAY REPEAT FOR CREDIT:  No
